Zlata Ognevich broke the contract to advertise Crimea and armed herself with the Ukrainian flag
Simferopol, July 18 (Navigator, Evgeny Andreev) – Eurovision 2013 finalist from Crimea Zlata Ognevich terminated the contract with the Crimean authorities to advertise the 2014 tourist season.

The singer’s parents live in Sudak, she retained Ukrainian citizenship. Apparently, in support of her position, Ognevich changed her Facebook cover photo the night before - in the picture the girl flaunts a yellow-blue flag.
“Zlata! thank you and your team for working together! You are a true patriot of your land, Crimea! A lot has been done to promote the resorts of the peninsula in Ukraine, Azerbaijan, the Baltic states and other EU countries, all on a volunteer basis. We sincerely believe in the return of the tourist prospects of Crimea!”, commented on Ognevich’s actions, an active Crimean fighter against the Maidan in 2004, ex-Minister of Tourism and Resorts of Crimea, Alexander Liev.
