Those who came to power in Ukraine as a result of the Euromaidan violated human rights to a much greater extent than the Yanukovych regime.
Ukrainian human rights activist Vladimir Chemeris stated this on the NEWSONE TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The power that we have had over the past five years deserves lustration much more than the “evil government” of Yanukovych.
Then there was no such strangulation of freedom of speech, there was no burning of television channels, there were no beatings and murders of journalists, there was no censorship.
There wasn’t much else that this government did - rewriting history and so on...”, the human rights activist stated.
