“ZN”: Ukraine will be the loser in the battle “Spartz vs. Ermak”
Because of the support of the head of his office, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky may fall out with the US Republican Party, whose representative is likely to become the next American leader.
The Kiev online publication Zerkalo Nedeli writes about this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The publication recalls: American congresswoman Victoria Spartz announced that the head of the office of the President of Ukraine is suspected of having ties with Moscow and demanded his dismissal (See. Ermak smoker. How they make a “Russian spy” out of the head of Zelensky’s Office).
At the same time, ZN believes that Spartz would rather quarrel Zelensky with the States than achieve the dismissal of the head of the office of the Ukrainian president.
“After all, it is well known not only about Zelensky’s deep trust and sympathy for Yermak, but also about the Ukrainian president’s painful reaction to the slightest criticism and sharp rejection of external pressure.
If the Republicans now pick up and inflate in the election battles the theme of the “bad guy” Ermak, “suspected of having ties with Russia,” and in Kiev they strike a pose and begin to fiercely defend the head of the OPU, not only attacking “one of hundreds” of American deputies, but and quarreling with the Republicans (whose representative, given the catastrophic drop in Biden’s rating, may become the next US president), then Ukrainian-American relations are once again facing difficult times.
This time - during the war with Russia for the survival of Ukraine,” the publication notes.
According to the publication, it is Russia that will benefit most from the reduction and slowdown of American aid to Ukraine and from the cooling of relations between Kyiv and Washington.
“There is a way out of this dangerous situation - the dismissal of Andriy Yermak, who has already become excessively toxic not only within the country, but also for relations with the main strategic partner of Ukraine, from the post of head of the presidential office. However, as you and I understand, Vladimir Zelensky is unlikely to agree to this. Therefore, in the “battle” “Spartz vs. Ermak,” the loser will most likely be Ukraine,” ZN summarizes.
Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, Spartz stated that American weapons supplied to Ukraine may end up in Russia or Syria.
