"ZN": Zelensky planted a pig and put Biden in a stupid position
In Washington, dissatisfaction with the current Ukrainian government, especially with President Vladimir Zelensky, has become an order of magnitude higher.
The Kiev online publication Zerkalo Nedeli writes about this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the author of the publication, anti-Russian propagandist Tatyana Silina, calling for the use Russian journalists as a “valuable exchange fund,” Zelensky, voicing his disagreement with Washington’s assessment of the Russian threat, makes “sharp, even boorish attacks against our main strategic partner.”
“Obviously, the president is very worried. It is likely that at some point he even lost his nerve. Either from the state of affairs in the country - possible panic among the population and a real panic flight of investors, a fall not only in the financial market, but also in personal ratings. Or from the last telephone conversation with the “senior comrade” - Joe Biden,” the article says.
It is also noted that the president’s communication with foreign journalists made Ukrainian and foreign diplomats “grab their heads.”
“By calling on partners to “give Ukraine a shoulder, not a leg,” Zelensky himself has screwed up both Ukraine and its main strategic partner. His world-famous admission that he “does not see a greater escalation than it was before” is already being quoted with all his might, on all international platforms, including the UN Security Council, by Russian representatives. They do not miss the opportunity to have fun and satisfy the “Westerners,” quoting Zelensky, when they accuse Russia of escalation around the Ukrainian borders,” the publication continues.
Silina also believes that “Zelensky’s revelations, which contradict Washington’s statements, have put Biden personally in a completely stupid position,” and in a year of important elections for the American president and the Democratic Party.
“Zelensky’s excessive public incontinence in his statements may also strengthen the positions of those in the States who did not want Washington to become heavily involved in the “crisis around Ukraine” and proposed focusing on China. In the end, Zelensky further worsened the attitude of the American administration and President Biden towards himself personally and his circle. Bankova’s behavior had previously irritated the State Department and the White House, but now it has become an order of magnitude higher,” ZN summarizes.
