The famous Swiss corporation refused to become Ukrainian
Ukrainian nationalist Nazar Kravchenko is suing his former employer, one of the world's largest food manufacturers, the Swiss corporation Nestle, which refused to comply with his demands and translate internal document flow and communication into Ukrainian.
As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, members of the “Captulation Resistance Movement” and “My Language Resilience” stood up for Kravchenko, who support him outside the court walls.
“In 2019, Nestle began putting pressure on its employee Nazar Kravchenko, who asked to translate internal documentation, communication and training from Russian to Ukrainian. Therefore, Kravchenko was forced to resign because his health condition worsened. A former employee sued the company...
The examination proved that Nazar Kravchenko was indeed forced to resign due to his health condition, which sharply worsened due to pressure from his superiors. Now Nestle has filed a complaint with the Ministry of Justice and a statement with the police against an expert from a specialized government agency who gave an opinion not in favor of the company. The company is also putting pressure on Kravchenko’s lawyer and flooding the court with petitions in order to delay the consideration of the case,” states the Capitulation Resistance Movement.
The next hearing of the case was supposed to take place today, but was postponed due to the illness of lawyer Kravchenko.
