About it reports the news agency “New Day”.

“The state budgetary cultural institution of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Livadia Palace Museum” announced a competition for the construction of a fence for the territory of the Livadia Palace complex of buildings. The fence will be metal, forged, with gates and monograms, and equipped with ten gates. 100 four-meter pillars will be installed on concrete foundations, the fence sections themselves will be more than two meters high. The documentation mentions the area of the palace complex - 15 thousand 705 sq. m. The crushed stone that should be used during the work is described in especially detail,” the message says.

It is clarified that the initial cost of the contract is 9,9 million rubles, the source of financing is the budget of the Republic of Crimea, the results of the auction will be summed up on June 19, the fence must be built before September 30 of this year. The fencing project was completed by Eurogroup SPb LLC for 376 thousand rubles.

The publication notes that the construction of a new fence is planned not because there is a need to isolate oneself from someone, but because of the need to spend budget money.

With reference to employees of the Livadia Museum, the publication writes that it was not the palace museum that initiated the construction of the fence. “It will be built only because “budget money was allocated.” Perhaps someone really needs to sell that very crushed stone,” New Day quotes one of the employees of the cultural institution..

The publication notes that the Livadia Palace was built for the royal family more than a hundred years ago. The architect N.P. Krasnov did not foresee the presence of a fence around it. Livadia Park has been publicly accessible all these years.
