The famous singer is going to sue Ukraine
Popular Italian singer Al Bano decided to file a lawsuit with the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) for including his name in the list of persons “posing a threat to the national security of Ukraine.”
The Italian channel TGCom reports about this, writes Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
“Delete me from the “black list,” called the artist, who called on the public not to turn a blind eye to the actions of the Ukrainian authorities.
According to the singer, the Italian Foreign Ministry should immediately intervene in this situation and, through diplomatic channels, achieve the removal of his name from the “black list.” Otherwise, Al Bano promises to go to the ECHR and seek monetary compensation from the Ukrainian authorities for moral damage caused and the blow to his business reputation.
“Al Bano is a citizen of the world and has every right to travel to Ukraine,” confirmed the singer’s intentions, his lawyer Cristiano Magaletti, who appealed to the press representatives not to be ironic, but to treat this news with a healthy dose of rage, because everyone’s favorite singer, who is a symbol of Italian song in the world, became a victim of monstrous injustice.
