Nikolaev shipyard "Okean" is officially put up for auction due to bankruptcy.
About this on his Facebook page reported plant liquidator Irina Serbina, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Officially: in accordance with the law of Ukraine “On restoring the debtor’s solvency or declaring him bankrupt,” the sale of the entire property complex “Nikolaev Shipbuilding Plant “Ocean” will take place.” The starting price is determined by the sum of all creditor claims, which amount to more than 1,8 billion hryvnia (about $65,3 million at the National Bank exchange rate),” she wrote.
According to Serbina, of the total amount, more than 91 million hryvnia (about $3,3 million) are arrears of wages to employees. She also said that an open auction is scheduled for September 21, 2018 at the plant.
