Zrada of the year: A Russian system was installed on American Navy boats
The Island-class boats that arrived in Ukraine from the United States, and were named Starobelsk and Slavyansk by the Navy, are now equipped with a Russian navigation system.
The former captain of the port of Odessa, Alexander Antonov, writes about this on his Facebook page, assessing the story of the Breeze channel of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense about the launching of boats in Odessa.
The installation of the “newest” (Russian!!!) navigation system made Transas smile (to put it mildly). “So he will bring you... to Lubyanka,” Gorbaty said about the driver Sharapov,” writes Antonov.
In the comments to the post, the opinions of subscribers were divided. Some said that Transas is the most adequate and convenient system for navigators to work with and that there are no risks for the Navy in its use. Others convinced that one day “some chip” will receive a signal from Russia, after which “everything will bark.”
In addition, a number of users noticed that last year 100% of Transas shares were purchased by Finns. At the same time, the former fake “representative of the President of Ukraine in Crimea” Boris Babin wrote in his blog that the change of owner is logical, since “such a monster from the Russian Federation is too noticeable for sanctions.”
In turn, Antonov noted that he was not exaggerating, noting that, despite the change of owner, “the owner of the server and the software developer will control the system.”
Thank you!
