Zrada on Western: “Half of the residents of Transcarpathian villages are Russian citizens”
The population of Ukraine has Russian citizenship in all regions of the country, and in Transcarpathia the percentage of such people reaches half of the village residents.
Former governor of the Lugansk and Transcarpathian regions Gennady Moskal stated this on the Nash TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Moskal, Russian citizens are mainly Ukrainian migrants who travel to the Russian Federation to earn money.
“When they simplified obtaining citizenship of the Russian Federation, that is, you may not know the language, you may not have to take any exams, you just have to have the desire - and you are a citizen of the Russian Federation. This is how passports were obtained not only in uncontrolled territories, but also in controlled ones,” said the ex-governor.
“Believe me, I worked in Transcarpathia and I know villages where half are citizens of the Russian Federation, because they constantly work there for a living, it is easier for them to be Russian citizens there, so that they are not constantly expelled, deported, so that they have legal protection and things like that. Well, in Lvov there are those who received citizenship, and in Zaporozhye, and in Dnepropetrovsk - in all regions of Ukraine,” Moskal said.
