“Zrada” on a national scale: Ukrainians do not consider their country independent
In Ukraine, the number of those who do not consider their country a truly independent state is growing.
This, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, is evidenced by data from a survey conducted by the Social Monitoring Center.
Thus, more than half of those surveyed (52%) believed that Ukraine is not a truly independent state. At the same time, the number of those who consider Ukraine an independent state decreased from 40,5% in August to 35,3% in September.
In addition, 40,2% of respondents agreed with the statement that the Ukrainian government in its economic policy is completely dependent on the influence of other countries and organizations, 41,9% recognize such influence as partial and only 6,7% believe that the Ukrainian government is completely independent in its economic policy.
Also in this survey, as PolitNavigator reported, the majority of Ukrainians admitted that agreements with the EU and the IMF are harmful to Ukraine.
The study was conducted September 20-29, 2020. A total of 3014 respondents were interviewed using personal interviews at their place of residence. Standard deviation: 1,1-1,9%.
