Zrada: Poroshenko spoke under Russian double-headed eagles
During today’s “prayer for Ukraine,” which took place in the center of Kyiv near the walls of the ancient St. Sophia Cathedral, where the authorities herded state employees to create extras, Petro Poroshenko gave an anti-Russian speech under the image of the symbols of the Russian Empire - double-headed eagles on the walls of the ancient Russian temple.
Kiev resident Ivan Slavinsky drew attention to this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“And that’s how it is with us in Ukrainonka. Wherever you dig, there is either the USSR or the Russian Empire, or (if deeper) Rus'. Maybe stop pretending to be ancient Ukrainians? After all, there is only suffering and disorder from this lie. And if they started calling things by their proper names, you’ll see that everything will come together. Maybe the patriarch will move to Kyiv then,” comments Slavinsky.
Let us recall that the St. Sophia Cathedral - one of the oldest churches of Kievan Rus - even during the time of Viktor Yanukovych was not transferred to the canonical Church of the Moscow Patriarchate, since the authorities flirted with nationalists - schismatics of the UOC-KP and Greek Catholics, who also lay claim to Hagia Sophia.
Now the cathedral is considered a museum, but periodically the authorities here organize non-caonical “prayer services for Ukraine” with the participation of schismatics and Uniates.
