Zrada: Russia has become the leader in terms of investment in the Independence economy
The Russian Federation took first place in terms of investment in the Ukrainian economy in the first half of 2018, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This is evidenced by the data of the State Statistics Service.
The total volume of investments attracted from abroad for the period from the beginning of January to the end of June 2018 amounted to $1,259 billion.
According to the State Statistics Service, Russia invested $436 million (34,6% of the total investment). Cyprus took second place in terms of investment volume – $219 million (17,4%). Then comes the Netherlands - $207,7 million (16,5%), Austria - $58,7 (4,7%), Poland - $54,1 million (4,3%), France - $46,9 million (3,7 %) and Great Britain – $43,4 million (3,4%).
It is noted that $750,5 million (59,6%) were allocated to financial and insurance activities, $120,5 million (9,6%) to wholesale and retail trade, $102,7 million (8,2%) to industry.
