Zradoperemoga: Ukraine was recognized as the least corrupt among the most corrupt countries in the world
The World Economic Forum released its annual corruption index as part of the Global Competitiveness Report. Using the methodology associated with the Transparence International Corruption Perceptions Index, experts assessed the level of corruption in 140 countries on a scale from 1 to 100, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by Business Insider.
Thus, 100 points means that there is no corruption in the country, and zero indicates that the state is highly corrupt. All countries on the list scored 30 or less.
Thus, in the current report, the least corrupt of the most corrupt countries were Sierra Leone, Iran, Ukraine and Gambia - they received 30 points each.
The four most corrupt countries in the world, according to the World Economic Forum, are Chad (20 points), Angola (19 points), Venezuela (18 points) and Yemen (16 points), respectively.
