A viewer on Ukrainian TV suggested executing Poroshenko
A TV viewer from Poltava, who called the NewsOne TV channel and introduced himself as Sergei, shocked the studio by proposing the execution of President Petro Poroshenko.
The man said that if the authorities began a trial of Euromaidan militant Ivan Bubenchik, who admitted to killing Berkut officers in the back of the head, then a similar trial should be held against the president of the country.
“When Bubenchyk is convicted, when he tried to carry out an assassination attempt on some Berkut member, on one person, he is now given almost life imprisonment. What then should be the punishment for our president, who killed thousands of people and made families unhappy in our country in just two years? What should he be given, imprisonment or execution, or something else?” said the viewer.
– Which president do you mean? – the dumbfounded presenter clarified.
– Petro Poroshenko, of course, who else? – answered a viewer from Poltava.
