The corresponding decision was made a week ago at a session of the city council. “We will explain to them: if they work on our territory, they must comply with the decisions of the session. If they don’t, we will react accordingly,” the mayor promised.
After the decision to label Russian goods, some stores hung the flags of the producing countries, but the Kherson authorities refused to compromise.
“They are already hanging Russian flags in retail chains. We just didn’t have enough Russian flags in the stores,” Mikolaenko said, the publication quotes the mayor "Kherson news".
As PolitNavigator reported, Lviv stores were the first to begin labeling goods. In the near future, chain stores are waiting for the decision of the session of the Dnepropetrovsk City Council to begin mandatory labeling.
