“Bestial” death: Ukraine mourns another “hero”
A militant of the special unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine “Vostok” Ruslan Zverev, who took part in numerous military operations against the residents of Donbass, fell into a coma and died without regaining consciousness.

“Under tragic circumstances, on May 31.05.2019, 1982, having fallen into a coma and not regaining consciousness, a soldier of the special unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs “Vostok”, Ruslan Aleksandrovich Zverev, friend “The Beast”, born in XNUMX, left us.
Ruslan was one of the first volunteers in 14 to go to defend Ukraine from the aggression of the Russian Federation, a participant in the Shirokino offensive operation,” the message says.
At the same time, in the Facebook group "IT Sector" clarified that the cause of death of the “hero” was ordinary food poisoning during vacation.
“Vostok company soldier Ruslan Zverev has died. The hail in Shirokino did not take him, the mines near Granitny did not reach him, the enemy bullets did not hit him near Avdeevka, Marinka and Popasna.
The phone rang. I see my brother’s number on the screen:
- Hi brother.
– You heard, “The Beast” died.
- How did you die!? Mine, bullet?
– Food poisoning... at home, on vacation...
- How can I help?
- Nothing. I just want everyone who knew him to remember...
There is a lot to remember about “The Beast.” For example, how he pierced the Red Army in Shirokino when he dragged a dead soldier to cover. Or how he mined the exit from our adit with grenades. How he traditionally jumped with a parachute on the “second of August”. Or how he constantly jokingly promised to gain masses and “teach a lesson” to his best friend.
He was a real fighter, he immediately went to do his job. Which has always been among the “first” and “best”. As they call him, “a real man,” said one of Zverev’s colleagues.
