The Dutch company Arawak Energy Ukraine BV has increased its stake in the holding company Geo-Alliance Oil-Gas Public Limited (Cyprus), which unites a number of gas production companies of businessman Viktor Pinchuk in Ukraine, to 50%.

This was reported by the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU).
According to the AMCU, the company “Arawak Energy Ukraine BV” (Rotterdam, the Netherlands) was fined 102 thousand UAH. for committing a violation of the legislation on the protection of economic competition in the form of concentration through the acquisition of shares of the company “Geo-Alliance Oil-Gas Public Limited” (Limassol, Cyprus), which ensures the achievement of 000% of the votes in the highest management body of the company, without obtaining the appropriate permission bodies of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine.
Later, the AMCU granted Arawak Energy the appropriate concentration permit.
