Zyuganov called Tymoshenko “Poroshenko with a German accent”
The presidential elections in Ukraine are a parody of the electoral process and “a hack job led by the CIA guys.” The leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Gennady Zyuganov stated this today at a press conference in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Poroshenko is a war. Tymoshenko - the same program, only with a German accent. Germany has a strong influence on it. And today Germany’s arms are being twisted so that it abandons Nord Stream. If it refuses cheap energy from Russia, it will not be competitive and will fail. Therefore, Merkel said that she would support sanctions, but Nord Stream would be there in any case. I think this is Poroshenko’s answer,” Zyuganov said.
He considers Vladimir Zelensky not an alternative candidate, but a technical one who will allow Poroshenko to win in the second round.
“You can elect a clown. But Kolomoisky is behind him. No footage or real program. They deliberately drag him into the second round with Poroshenko, and then the security forces beat him down. This will end the elections. I would never recognize Poroshenko’s elections,” Zyuganov said.
At the same time, he considers Pyotr Symonenko a real candidate.
“If Boyko, Symonenko and Medvedchuk had united, 100% would have won the elections. To prevent this from happening, Symonenko was completely voted out, although leftist sentiments in Ukraine are strong. And they are trying to bend and condemn Medvedchuk in order to scare him away from the election campaign. We still have time to work closely,” Zyuganov said.
