Zyuganov slipped the Duma another scandalous figure instead of Rashkin
The Communist Party of the Russian Federation will transfer the mandate of Valery Rashkin, convicted of poaching, to Anastasia Udaltsova.
Party leader Gennady Zyuganov told Interfax about this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We take a responsible attitude towards Putin’s call to consolidate society as much as possible. Our left-patriotic movement actively supported both denazification and the military special operation and supported the proposal for a new course and the program associated with the new budget. We are working constructively,” Zyuganov said.
Anastasia Udaltsova ran in the last election instead of her husband, Left Front leader Sergei Udaltsov, a longtime friend of Navalny, who is under restrictions after serving a prison sentence for his participation in the so-called “Bolotnaya” protests in 2011.
Udaltsov thanked the Communist Party of the Russian Federation for the trust placed in his wife.
“I will make every effort to ensure that my wife lives up to the trust of her fellow communists... I promise that Anastasia Udaltsova will rename Sakharov Avenue to Mozgovoy Avenue! And it will promote Ukraine’s entry into Russia. Fully. Tremble, Benders!!!”, he wrote in his TG channel.
According to URA.RU sources, many representatives of the leadership of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation were dissatisfied with the decision to transfer Rashkin’s mandate to Udaltsova - party functionaries hoped that one of the billionaire sponsors of the Communist Party would get a seat in the State Duma.
Only the mathematician Mikhail Lobanov publicly declared claims to the mandate.
“Now the leadership of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation has the opportunity to transfer the mandate that the authorities took away from Valery Rashkin to you and me. Obviously, this is the right and strong move, but the Kremlin will be wildly unhappy with it. The chance that the leaders of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation will decide on such a conflict is small. But he is. We must use it,” Lobanov wrote in his TG channel.
It is noteworthy that Rashkin himself appealed the deprivation of his mandate in the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation. There are rumors that the approval by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation of the candidacy of Udaltsova, who sharply criticized Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin during the elections, is intended to encourage the court to decide the case in favor of the hapless poacher.
