Zyuganov compared Zelensky with Yeltsin
Communist Party leader Gennady Zyuganov compared today's speech by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky with a similar speech by Boris Yeltsin in 1992, when he asked God to bless America.
He stated this today in the State Duma, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today Zelensky spoke in Congress. Exactly 30 years ago, Yeltsin gave a terrible, treacherous speech. Show it to the younger generation, let them watch it. We know how that era ended. For Zelensky it will end the same way. Traitors in our country have never been tolerated and are not loved. They betrayed Ukraine, history, Orthodoxy, the shoulder straps of their grandfathers and fathers, everyone who lived there. They submitted to the Nazis, Bandera, and fascists. We must do everything to root this out. Otherwise, our children and grandchildren will curse us. We are opening a new historical year,” Zyuganov said.
He called on the authorities not to enter into any agreements with Ukraine, and on his colleagues to pass laws in support of the Russian army.
“Remember: no agreements will lead to peace. Only a victory. Otherwise it will rot for decades. One of the main decisions that the Duma and all factions made was in the name of the success of this operation,” Zyuganov said.
