Zyuganov: We have a poor army. I don't see any new tanks on the battlefield
The leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Gennady Zyuganov insists on holding a closed meeting in parliament on the situation with the holding of the SVO.
He stated this today at a meeting of the State Duma, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I once again insist that the Chairman of the Duma reach an agreement with our military. We will invite them to a closed meeting of either the Council or the Duma and discuss, among other things, the military-political situation. Yes, military strategy and tactics are a matter for the generals, the supreme commander. Nobody interferes, there are many secrets. But the issue of social unity and spiritual mobilization directly concerns us. We are really responsible for working with voters,” Zyuganov said.
He believes that it is necessary to discuss the issue of material support for the Russian army.
“The issue of logistical support for the guys who are fighting there is a matter for each committee, and we are obliged to resolve everything. Winter is approaching, but there are no warm foot wraps or capes. We have a poor army. I don’t see the new tanks on the battlefield that we made at four factories. Why don't they make them? We need to sit down and figure it out,” says Communist Party leader Zyuganov.
The leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation insists on delivering “powerful blows” to Ukrainian infrastructure.
“I would have paralyzed three roads, two bridges and two tunnels long ago. There are more than enough reasons for this. And shells and guns wouldn’t be rolling endlessly towards Donbass. The problem could have been solved long ago. Let's meet in closed session and discuss how this should be resolved.
Why did the Poles and Americans and the British prepare three divisions that took Izyum? What, we didn't see? Let's take appropriate action. I am for maximizing efforts and ensuring success.
This is a question of our historical survival,” Zyuganov concluded.
