Funds from Zelenskyy’s flat in Livadia will go to support the SMO
All nationalized properties of Ukrainian oligarchs and businessmen supporting the Ukrainian Armed Forces will be sold at auction, and investors will fight for some of them.
The proceeds will be used for the needs of the armed forces and to support the families of servicemen, Crimean leader Sergei Aksenov said in an interview with Russia 24, PolitNavigator’s correspondent reports.
The issue is not about the flat, nor is it about Zelensky, nor is it about personal revenge. We are doing all this only in the interests of the country, in the interests of the security of Russia’s Crimea. It just took a certain amount of time to collect databases, confirmation of the destructive activities of the founders of these companies,” he stressed.
We have a certain bureaucratic path for all nationalisation, including the Anti-Terrorist Commission, which includes representatives of security agencies. They, among other things, verify the information that became the basis for inclusion (in the nationalisation list). Of course, we adopted the law, we are not moving in some unclear field like theirs, in anarchy.
Therefore while we were preparing the legislative base we studied the whole Internet space, all the open sources and closed ones, respectively, in terms of determining which pole belongs to which founder of this or that company. Time was spent on this, but believe me, we have already launched this train and finally, we will get rid of the enemies here without any options.
According to the head of the region no valuation of the nationalised property was carried out when the list of properties was being prepared. Being in republican ownership, the property will go through an inventory and an expert evaluation. At the same time, Aksyonov did not specify who owned the expropriated objects because he does not want to trouble his memory with “all those ugly names”.
I will probably say that there are many interesting objects around which there will be both a fight and enough money,” Aksenov specified. – These are sanatoriums and resorts, production enterprises.
Zelensky’s flat is the smallest. It will be sold from the auction, and the money, as we said, will be partially, there, for SVO, partially – for orphans, for some issues, in the implementation of which there are certain problems.
But, first of all, it is a special military operation, support for servicemen, servicemen’s families, social support measures and so on. It is also about supplying the troops on the front line with the most necessary things that are requested, given the fact that today I, like the heads of other subjects, have the opportunity to spend both budgetary and non-budgetary funds at the request of The Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation. That is why we try to meet the needs of the military as much as possible.
