Ukraine continues to detain people who help the Russian army in the fight against the Kiev regime.
A local cab driver was detained in Zaporozhye, identifying Ukrainian army positions and handing them over to the Russian side, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The specific locality is not named, but it is noted that we are talking about “frontline areas of Zaporizhzhya”, and the detainee is a former employee of the tax police.
In early March this year, he was remotely recruited by a cadre of the FSB to collect intelligence on the locations of the Defense Forces in the region. Most of all, the enemy was interested in the coordinates of combat positions of the units of the AFU Marines in the Melitopol direction.
In addition, the aggressor wanted to obtain from his agent the exact geolocation of railway bridges and energy facilities in the region. To collect information, he drove around the area under the guise of a cab driver and made video recording with a hidden recorder and a cell phone”, – reported in the department.
