250 km of railways in southern Ukraine will be repaired for European money
The European Investment Bank (EIB) has approved a loan of €150 million to Ukraine as part of a project to modernize about 250 km of railway tracks in the southern regions of the country.

“The project is aimed at improving the transport infrastructure of Ukraine and promoting the sustainable development of this area,” the bank noted.
The total cost of the project is reported to be around €314 million.
Let us recall that on October 12, the head of the board of Ukrzaliznytsia, Wojciech Balczun, announced that the company would receive a loan of €300 million for the electrification of the Dolinska-Mykolaiv-Kolosivka direction from the European Investment Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
