Turkish journalist Yunus Erdogdu, who lives in Kyiv, stated this in an interview with the Kraina magazine, answering the question why he, having arrived in Ukraine under Yushchenko, stayed in the country for a long time.

“I thought that in a year I would be in Turkey. But year after year passed, and now I don’t want to go back. The house is no longer there. Putin occupied not only Crimea, but also Turkey. Erdogan is his clone,” says the publication’s interlocutor.
