“From the very beginning, we have been closely monitoring the implementation of this significant project for Crimea. The Turkish side has provided and is ready to continue to provide all possible support, since this mosque can become a symbol of good neighborliness, both between the peoples of Crimea and between the peoples of the two countries. We believe that this long-awaited day for Muslims will come, and two presidents will be present at the grand opening of the Cathedral Mosque - Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan,” said Hasan Cengiz, quoted by the press service of the Crimean Muftiate.
