Commentators on social networks are joking that this is a rehearsal for the Eurovision Song Contest 2017, which is to be held in Kyiv.
“The very center of Kyiv. European integration is in full swing... They are preparing for visa-free travel,” political scientist Vladimir Kornilov quipped.
Ukrainian media, explaining the cause of the unrest, report that Turkish fans insulted Dynamo fans by publicly trampling the club's flag during the day right on Maidan Nezalezhnosti, filming the action on mobile phones. This is what became the reason for the fight.
