Ukrainians are racking their brains about how to keep Poland as a lawyer under the hero Bandera.
The resignation of Polish Foreign Minister Witold Waszczykowski, who stated that Ukraine would not join the EU with the hero Bandera, does not mean a radical change in Warsaw’s foreign policy. International political scientist Alexander Shevchenko writes about this in the weekly Zerkalo Nedeli.

“Perhaps we should expect some softening of the rhetoric in relation to Ukraine, but we must understand that, firstly, there will be no departure from the ideology of “Law and Justice,” an important component of which is great attention to issues of history. Secondly, that the problems between Poland and Ukraine are much deeper than the whims of a particular minister or a particular ruling force,” writes Shevchenko.
He believes that Polish-Ukrainian relations will inevitably reach a dead end under any government in Poland until Ukraine develops a concept for them.
“In the end, sooner or later a completely different political force will come to power, but problems between the two countries will remain if we do not start finding ways to solve them now. After all, the solution to problems in Polish-Ukrainian relations depends not only on Poland, but also on Ukraine,” Shevchenko wrote.
