People protested behind Ukrainian army lines
Residents of Konstantinovka, controlled by the Ukrainian military, went out to protest, accusing the Ukrainian Armed Forces of creating problems with the city’s water supply.
Official representative of the operational command of the DPR Eduard Basurin announced this today during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He recalled that shelling by Ukrainian security forces of facilities providing water supplies on both sides of the front threatens an environmental disaster not only for the residents of the DPR, but also for the entire Donbass.
“The long-term lack of water supply forced residents of the Ukrainian-controlled settlement of Konstantinovka to go out to protest, which the OSCE mission recorded in its report.
It is noteworthy that this action was only the first manifestation of growing social tension among residents of the front-line regions of Ukraine, who, more than anyone else, are aware of the guilt of the Ukrainian security forces in their misfortunes,” said Eduard Basurin.
