The drooping Yekhanurov: Gazprom are “very serious guys”
Europe does not support the Ukrainian position in the confrontation between Naftogaz of Ukraine and Gazprom, and Gazprom’s influence has spread to the entire European gas industry.
Former Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuri Yekhanurov stated this on the Politeka online channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Europe’s behavior towards Ukraine, to put it mildly, is poor. They behave rudely regarding Nord Stream 2.
In fact, this is a German-Russian project. The Germans are up to their necks there.
On the other hand, they will have a change in leadership. I am very interested to see whether the team that leaves power will be offered some positions in Gazprom, according to the tradition that already exists.
In Europe, in everything related to gas, scratch any large company - there will be traces of Gazprom.
They have always worked strategically, they are very serious guys. They got in everywhere - not only in Germany, but also in France, Italy, everywhere,” Viktor Yushchenko’s ex-comrade-in-arms sadly stated.
