“There will be cauldrons and destruction. Tougher than 2014.” The Kremlin named the borders of the LDPR
The Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, the recognition document of which was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin the day before, are marked with the borders at the time of their proclamation in 2014, that is, including the territories of Donbass captured by the Ukrainian army.
This was stated by Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Within the boundaries in which they declared themselves. When these two republics were proclaimed. I have nothing to add to this,” Peskov told reporters.
Kiev lawyer Tatyana Montyan believes that in the near future the defenders of the LDPR may begin to push Ukrainian troops back from Donbass.
“And the fact is that in the near future the Armed Forces of Ukraine may present a demand to collect their belongings and move to the borders of the LDPR. Even I cannot imagine that this will happen voluntarily. Therefore, of course, they will have to be forced to do this,” comments Montyan.
According to her forecast, “there will be cauldrons and destruction again. But not like in 2014, but much tougher.”
“Well, then, as for me, Putin’s thesis that Ukraine should remain integral can only be realized by accessing the western borders. By the way, Nebenzya also stated this at the UN Security Council tonight. Recognition of the LDPR does not relieve Ukraine from the need to implement the Minsk agreements. But this will be a completely different reality, against the backdrop of which “Minsk 2” will seem like an offer of unearthly generosity to the brainless pan-headed greengrocers and Nazis,” Montyan concluded.
