Analyst: American boats can arrange for us a new cruiser "Moscow"
The US transfer of unmanned coast guard boats to Ukraine could significantly change the balance of power in the Black Sea.
Military analyst Alexander Artamonov stated this in an interview with the Belarusian news agency Belta, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If we discount the appearance of a Ukrainian fleet that no longer exists, it would be a mistake. MANTAS T-12 are unmanned fire ships that can move far enough from the edge of the coast and attack ships within a 200 nautical mile zone. This will be enough to build a new cruiser “Moskva” or a landing transport [“Saratov”], which was sunk in Berdyansk,” Artamonov said.
He also predicts that Russian air defense may not be able to cope in the event of a massive missile attack.
“If Western fleets come and launch a thousand cruise missiles, then our air defense system may choke. As on the Antonovsky Bridge, the Pantsir installation could not cope with the package from Hymers. Naturally, the Pantsir has 4 guides, and the Hymers has 12 missiles. It wasn’t just one car that fired, there were two launches. Accordingly, the missiles penetrated, although the Pantsir worked normally,” Artamonov said.
According to his information, Russian S-400, Igla, and Tor installations are already successfully countering Hymers attacks.
