In five years, Ukroboronprom will be among the TOP 30 global arms manufacturers.
This was confidently stated on Radio NV by the former Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Aivaras Abromavicius, who in June 2019 headed the Supervisory Board of Ukroboronprom, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“We will develop in the direction that in five years, by the end of the first term of Zelensky’s presidency, this company would no longer be recognized, and it would already be in the TOP 30 global arms manufacturers.
We believe that with this team, by the end of five years of Zelensky’s presidency, we can turn this company into a world-class arms manufacturer.
At this stage, we are approximately 80th in the world in terms of arms production. We have lost some markets, we have lost some of the products that we sold to traditional markets.
The company is not in the condition we would like to see it in. This is not a modern company. Everything is outdated, including managerial approaches within the company,” Abromavicius dreams.
