Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Servant of the People Nikita Poturaev stated this on Radio-NV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There is a fundamental question: in the conditions of a hybrid war, are we protecting ourselves from disinformation and manipulation of civil consciousness, which is actually aimed at undermining our national security, or not? A simple question... There are people, to which I myself belong, who believe that society and the state should have effective tools on how to protect themselves from information warfare, which must be applied according to specific, transparent, clear criteria.
There are people who say “no, nothing is needed at all.” For some reason, these people, as a rule, represent those media that, surprisingly - today I read a monitoring study of the promotion of the Russian agenda in the Ukrainian media, which is being done with the support of our international partners, it is clearly visible which 16 Russian media start the topic, and 99 (Later Poturaev will correct that 66 – ed.) The media in Ukraine rebroadcast exactly what began in Moscow, in exactly the same expressions and words,” Poturaev said.
