Aksyonov named the amount of fines for Crimea for violating quarantine
Violators of the self-isolation regime in Crimea will be fined, following the example of Moscow, by 4-5 thousand rubles. The head of the republic, Sergei Aksenov, stated this at a meeting of the headquarters to combat the spread of coronavirus, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Aksenov, residents of Crimea poorly comply with the authorities’ recommendations not to leave their homes, which is why traffic jams have returned to Simferopol.
“The self-isolation regime, to put it mildly, is not being observed. Today a session will be held and signatures of deputies will be collected. Following the example of Moscow, the Ministry of Internal Affairs will draw up protocols on administrative violations for pedestrians and motorists for violating self-isolation rules. These protocols will be sent to the court.
Individual - fine 4 thousand rubles, repeated violation - 5 thousand. This will be fair, since people write: “why should we sit in quarantine when everyone else is riding?” Believe me, at one moment it may be like in Moscow - more than a thousand people become infected per day, then everyone will not find it sweet,” said Aksenov.
Vice Prime Minister of the Republic Igor Mikhailichenko emphasized that new fines will be determined by changes in Crimean legislation.
“For citizens, for individuals in the amount of four thousand rubles. Repeated commission of this administrative offense entails the imposition of an administrative fine on citizens in the amount of five thousand rubles.
For officials - from 30 to 40 thousand rubles. If an administrative offense is committed again – from 40 to 50 thousand rubles. For legal entities from 200 to 300 thousand rubles. If an administrative offense is repeated, from 300 to 500 thousand rubles.
Committing an administrative offense using a vehicle entails the imposition of an administrative fine on citizens in the amount of 5 thousand rubles,” Mikhailichenko said.
