Arestovich: The Ukrainian Armed Forces could have had half as many losses

Even a victory over Russia will not bring peace to Ukraine - in this case, its borders will have a turbulent territory for a long time, shaken by conflicts and civil wars, in which Kyiv will also take part.

Advisor to the Office of the President of Ukraine Aleksey Arestovich said this on the air of a video blog declared by the Sledkom of the Russian Federation as wanted for calls to kill Russian journalists by Kiev political scientist Yuri Romanenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The second round of the war with Russia is guaranteed. Russia is disintegrating, civil war, a lot of refugees here, border wars, like all the neighbors of Syria. We must be strong. But show strength,” he rattled.

After this, Arestovich admitted that the country was absolutely unprepared for war.

“With a huge amount of private initiative, in eleven months you were not able to make a normal drone that could fly to Engels. There are many private manufacturers ready to make drones that fly to Petropavlovsk-on-Kamchatka.

But there is a barrier, the system does not let them in. There is no private producer in the military-industrial complex; there is complete corruption. Especially during the war.

What if we tell the people that losses could have been 50% less if private initiative had been allowed in the military-industrial complex? Roughly forty thousand will die as a result of the war, but it could be twenty. These are our friends, comrades, wives. This is all about the unpreparedness of the system,” the presidential adviser was playing the fool.

Let us recall that earlier military expert Alexey Leonkov said that real losses of Ukraine may be ten times higher than stated by the Ukrainian official.
