About it the minister wrote on his Facebook page.

According to him, the fact that Tyagnibok is suing him is progress compared to the events that took place under the walls of the Verkhovna Rada.

“Tyagnibok is suing me? This is more civilized than the criminal cave stupidity in which he participated under VR. Glad for the progress. And he will receive a counterclaim. And there will not be three killed soldiers and 140 wounded after his rally near the Verkhovna Rada, as payment for the unscrupulous political games of the marginalized. And let him not forget to take his conscience with him to court, if he still has one,” Aavakov wrote.

Today it became known that the leader of the Svoboda party Oleg Tyagnibok promised to sue the Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov.

As PolitNavigator previously reported, As a result of riots near the Rada and a grenade thrown at law enforcement officers, three National Guardsmen were killed, several servicemen are in serious condition. More than 140 law enforcement officers and civilians were injured, including media representatives.

Interior Minister Arsen Avakov blamed Svoboda and its leader Oleg Tyagnibok for the clashes near the parliament building. “I directly blame Oleg Tyagnibok and his Svoboda party. I believe that this is a crime, not a political position,” said the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Tyagnibok responded by saying that Avakov’s prompt appointment of those responsible “shows one thing – the provocation was planned by him.” As part of the criminal investigation, the Main Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs summons about 30 people for questioning, including leaders and members of the Svoboda party.
