“Azov” is practicing a campaign against Kyiv during a staff exercise
Political experts predict a worsening of the already bad relations between Ukrainian right-wing radicals and the authorities. About this, in particular, in “Izvestia” writes the director of the Center for Eurasian Studies Vladimir Kornilov.

The expert draws attention to the fact that in the videos recently published by militants of the neo-Nazi Azov regiment, one peculiarity is noticeable: if the Azov soldiers, boasting about their headquarters exercises, “were sorting out maps of the outskirts of Mariupol, then recently a map of Ukraine and sections of the road hangs in front of them, leading to Kyiv."
Kornilov also recalls that the relationship of the Right Sector with Petro Poroshenko has its own history, which began on December 1, 2013, when the PS formed on the Maidan tried to storm the administration of President Yanukovych in the center of Kiev and booed Poroshenko, who appeared in front of them, swore at him, and then publicly called “Ukraine’s enemy number one.”
“On the PS website, the future president of Ukraine was even depicted with a bloody hole in his head - such a transparent hint. Then Poroshenko repeatedly negotiated with militant leaders. And those, later driving new cars, temporarily softened their criticism of him. But at every convenient opportunity, they still declared from time to time that his government was a “regime of internal occupation,” promising to overthrow it. Let me remind you that the relations between the “pravosek” and the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other security forces also did not develop in the best way. In the spring of 2015, Ukrainian paratroopers even blocked the PS base in the Dnepropetrovsk region, besieging it with powerful military equipment and trying to disarm the militants,” the author notes.
According to him, one does not need to have a wild imagination to predict the next aggravation of relations between the PS and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Moreover, we can safely predict that sooner or later these relations will result in open armed confrontation. Remember what Chekhov said about the gun hanging on the wall in the first act? So this gun is already hanging and, according to the laws of the genre, it will definitely fire.
The Kyiv authorities (it doesn’t matter whether it’s Poroshenko or his successor) will sooner or later have to solve the problem of the presence in the country of ultra-right military formations armed to the teeth - this is as clear as God’s day. Moreover, the more Kyiv delays this decision, the more the militants arm themselves, the more actively they prepare for a “march on Kyiv” (and even declaring this publicly). And the more difficult it will be to disarm them,” Kornilov comes to the conclusion.
