Fugitive Russian businessman Evgeny Chichvarkin gave a very unflattering assessment of the participants in the “Free Russia” “forum”, which took place in Vilnius.
He stated this in an interview with the RTVI television channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There are a lot of political scammers out there. There are a lot of just balabols and real schizoids. Unfortunately, I have to say this out loud: demshiza, balabols and simply cunning people are striking,” said Chichvarkin.
At the same time, he said that the “forum” was the strongest in recent times.
“The way politics was discussed suggests that many have become more realistic in their assessments and forecasts of the activities of both Putin and the Russian authorities. We had a theme that Russian policy is ineffective, but very stable.
All the fantasies that existed three or four years ago that the people would rebel and carry out Putin with pitchforks flew out of my head. I’m very glad that everyone is more or less feet on the ground and back to reality,” said Chichvarkin.
