Belarusian state media are widely covering the arrival of a plane carrying humanitarian aid from China.
This is the third delivery of humanitarian cargo from China to Belarus, a Politnavigator correspondent reports.
The total weight of the cargo is about 10 tons. Moreover, more than half of the cargo volume is medical supplies purchased by Belarusian companies at the request of the Ministry of Health.
At the same time, Belarus “did not notice” the arrival of humanitarian cargo from Russia on the eve of Victory Day. With the support of the Russian Orthodox Church, with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill, more than 50 thousand masks, 30 thousand pairs of gloves, respirators and protective suits, 4 tons of disinfectant liquid and sets of medicines for the entire cycle of treatment of seriously ill patients with coronavirus, designed for more than 300 patients, were delivered to Minsk.
In Belarus they not only ignore Russian humanitarian aid, but also criticize it. President Lukashenko argued that Russian coronavirus tests are “not worth it,” while the Chinese ones, which are now being abandoned around the world, are accurate.
Members of the Belarusian government claimed that they did not turn to Russia for help, but Russian diplomats proved the fact of a request for help from the state sanitary service of Belarus.
