As a result of the five-year rule of the “reformers” who came in the wake of the Maidan, Ukraine was left without an economy and lost its workforce, and half of the country’s population found itself driven below the poverty line.
Political scientist Alexander Lazarev said this on air on the ZIK TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, Ukraine has become completely dependent on Russian capital, despite the fact that the trade imbalance has reached catastrophic proportions.

Over the five years of our tenure, we have had inflation of 151%, a 4-fold drop in purchasing power, about 10 million workers in labor migration, direct investments have fallen by 2,5 times, and gold and foreign exchange reserves have dropped three times.
