Comedian Vladimir Zelensky made great use of the opportunity to play the role of the President of Ukraine.
Russian actor Sergei Bezrukov stated this in an interview with Izvestia, answering the question whether he plans to play the role of an astronaut or president.
“Excuse me, I don’t need the role of president. The current president of Ukraine has already had this opportunity, and he took advantage of it well. I think you shouldn’t copy someone, much less repeat someone’s fate. Everyone must mind their own business and be competent in it. I am very well versed in the theater: I have known it from the cradle, grew up within its walls, and work to this day. By the way, I recently played the role of an astronaut. He starred in an episode of the short series “It’s like a movie,” said Bezrukov.
