Visa-free travel with the EU has accelerated the flight of Ukrainians from the country
The visa-free regime with the European Union, which Ukrainians were lured to the Maidan, was used by only 3 percent of citizens who traveled abroad.

Political scientist Dmitry Dzhangirov stated this on the air of “UkrLife”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
According to him, the visa-free regime did not give the right to work in EU countries, however, it accelerated the emigration of the Ukrainian population.
“The 17th year was very active - the year of departure. Not the visa-free regime itself. If we turn to the visa-free regime itself, I will tell you that in the first month of those who left, only 5% took advantage of the visa-free regime. The total official data is 3%. I won’t ask a mean, vapid question: was it worth destroying the country over three percent? Was it all worth it? 3% of those who left took advantage of visa-free travel. Well, we saved 35 euros. The visa-free regime itself has intensified employment processes there. The options there have become easier, although the visa-free regime itself does not give the right to work, but it does provide employment opportunities. Naturally, these processes have begun,” Dzhangirov said.
