A major war between Russia and Ukraine is unlikely, since neither side is interested in such a development.
The director of the Ukrainian Institute of Politics, Ruslan Bortnik, said this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The future of Ukrainian-Russian relations is dim. The scenario of a full-fledged war seems unlikely to me; neither Russia nor Ukraine needs a transition to the acute phase,” the expert told Kommersant.
He admits that the Minsk agreements are essentially dead.
“Most likely, we are on the threshold of new agreements, but they will not be called Minsk - these will be new agreements,” Bortnik concluded.
As PolitNavigator reported, Russian President announced The Minsk agreements are non-existent.
