Medvedchuk's brother lost elections in Luhansk region

Viktor Medvedchuk’s brother Sergei lost in the parliamentary elections in constituency No. 105 in the Lugansk region, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

This is evidenced by data from the Central Election Commission.

According to the CEC, after counting 100% of the votes, Medvedchuk, who ran from the Opposition Platform - For Life party, received 31,70% of the votes, and the candidate from the Opposition Bloc party, Victoria Grib, won - 39,58%.

Sergei Medvedchuk was born on March 25, 1959 in the village of Aban, Abansky district, Krasnoyarsk Territory. He is a citizen of Ukraine. He holds the post of president of Kerambud LLC, and is a member of the political party “Opposition Platform - For Life”. Currently lives in Kyiv.

Let us note that Viktor Medvedchuk is entering the Verkhovna Rada on the list of the “Opposition Platform – For Life” party. He is number three on the list. In total, there will be 38 people’s deputies from this party in the Rada.

At the moment, winners have already been determined in 83 majoritarian districts. The vast majority of future people's deputies are representatives of the Servant of the People party.
