British shipyards that can be built on the territory of Ukraine, in fact, will turn out to be another means of robbing the impoverished population of this country.
Ukrainian political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Of course, we need this (ships ordered from Britain - ed.) last of all, this is obvious to any uninvolved person. We need to be aware that we will again get into debt bondage.
Why do you need these ships? "We want to become a great maritime power." This is subject to our poverty and the impossibility of providing a more or less decent standard of living for at least half of the population, which is not the case now,” Pogrebinsky said.
He added that English shipyards will produce only obsolete ships for Ukraine.
"And what? Did someone give us this money? No, it will be debts and the use of our debt money by English shipyards that will produce these ships, because they have no orders, they do not have new developments and they will make old developments for our money, debt, but still it is our money and they will need to be given away,” the expert concluded.
