The Russian Federation made serious mistakes when it recognized the power of Petro Poroshenko and did not allow the Donbass militias to reach Kharkov.
Ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Oleg Tsarev said this on the YouTube channel “Spets”, reports the correspondent of “PolitNavinator”.
“A lot of mistakes were made. The consequences of such civil conflicts, as a rule, are postponed for a very long time. The second, third, fourth generations of people remember who fought where and for whom they were. Therefore, all this is very difficult.
The fact that we allowed what is happening now is a big mistake.
Is it right that Poroshenko was recognized? No. Is it right that they didn’t help Yanukovych during the Maidan and didn’t interfere? I think that's not right.
Is it right that the militias were stopped when they were marching towards Mariupol and Kharkov? I think many people think it’s wrong,” the politician concluded.
