The participation of world leaders in the Victory Parade, which will be organized on May 9 in Moscow, will give Russian President Vladimir Putin an “indulgence” and will be a repeat of the Sochi Olympics for him.
The leader of the Mejlis banned in the Russian Federation, ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Refat Chubarov, stated this on the UA: Crimea TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“May 9 – what Andrei Piontkovsky called “victory” – is not just some kind of stage for Putin. This is his attempt to attract as many prominent world politicians as possible. Their arrival and participation in this military parade will, to a certain extent, mean for Putin an indulgence in his further crimes.
I said today that for me, if he manages to implement at least to some significant extent the plan that he has on May 9 in Moscow, then for him it will be at the level of the Sochi Olympics in 2014, after which he launched a military invasion into the territory of Ukraine,” Chubarov said.
