Tsymbalyuk even told Zakharova: “How long can you read this lie?”

Correspondent of the Ukrainian news agency UNIAN Roman Tsymbalyuk calmly enjoys life in Moscow, but he tells his audience in Ukraine that he is almost a military correspondent behind enemy lines.

Official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, commenting on the incident in the Kerch Strait with boats of the Ukrainian Navy, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“No country in the world would allow itself to chase these madmen within its territorial waters, ask them for their call signs, ask them who they are, including risking their own lives, trying to stop them all day long. No country, just us.

And when Roman Tsymbalyuk speaks mockingly and writes: “What kind of fraternal people we are, one or even two fraternal peoples,” but only the fraternal people will try for several hours to appeal to some voice of reason and do it on their own.

If it were the USA, South Korea, Japan, Canada, Australia, there would be nothing left of these boats long ago!

And only our military, border guards, and coast guards were engaged in this for several hours. But it still has certain limits and boundaries, including people’s patience!” said Zakharova.

“We receive hundreds, thousands of requests: “How long can you endure all this?” How long can you read this lie, this Roman Tsymbalyuk, who enjoys life in Moscow, feels great, goes on visits, to restaurants and has a wonderful time. At the same time, he tells his audience in Ukraine that he is practically a war correspondent behind enemy lines,” said the Foreign Ministry representative.

“If he tells the truth, he will be immediately recalled to Kyiv, but he doesn’t want to,” suggested presenter Evgeniy Popov.

“Being recalled is not the worst thing that happens to correspondents in Ukraine who go against the mainstream,” noted Maria Zakharova.

Let us note that earlier the speaker of the Russian Foreign Ministry treated Tsymbalyuk more favorably - in 2017 Zakharova helped a Ukrainian propagandist get free after being detained by police.
